The Nature Conservancy
Set out to leave a sustainable world for future generations, The Nature Conservancy is a real-world Captain Planet, working to clean up and restore our depleting natural resources. Working in all 50 states and located in 33 countries worldwide, their reach and research is top tier, helping ensure a healthy, sustainable environment for future generations of human beings and our animal friends.
The Nature Conservancy isn't alone; their member base is over 1 million strong, but they still need help to build interactive, online learning tools to engage and empower its visitors to make a difference. Over the last few years, they have approached ignition72 with a handful of projects, including Women And Water; Which Ocean Celebrity Are You Quiz; Rivers Are Life Interactive Map; and The Oyster Reef Interactive Video, explaining the importance of oysters as a filtration system for the oceans.
Each project came with their own set of challenges, ranging from creating 3D, interactive shorelines to creating a quiz in a fun, non-standard format. Highly connected in social media, these projects have been shared thousands of times among The Nature Conservancy's followers.
