Is Your Business
You know more about your business than anyone, and at Ignition72, we acknowledge and respect that. So, our job isn’t to tell you how to run your business. It’s to translate your goals, objectives and budget into digital tools that are a true extension of your organization. That is how we both achieve results.
One thing you will never hear from our team is a single answer to what is the best technology. The best technology depends on who you are and what you’re trying to achieve. It is a specific solution for your individual organization, not a broad, industry-wide answer.
As such, the first thing Ignition72 does when we meet is get to know you. By gaining an understanding of your business, we are then able to work with you to select your best technology and the design and development specifics that give you the best possible outcome.
Our Strategy First™ process is both measured and collaborative. Our team of expert strategists, designers and developers will not only help define the scope and proper deployment strategy, we will actually execute it on your behalf to serve your own best interests.
When you work with Ignition72 we start by making sure we understand you and your organization so that we can become a seamless part of it. We want to know what will move the needle, what we have to work with, and what success looks like. Being strategic isn’t just a cool container for planning, it is a company wide effort to deliver the best, most appropriate solution to your problem or opportunity. Everybody at Ignition72 has an expertise and we bring the entire team to the table on your behalf, with proactive perspectives from Creative, Content, Code and Communications leaders; and all before the first line of code is written.
How We Do It
We start exploring and understanding the landscape in which you operate, as well as the audiences and stakeholders, digesting and analyzing any data or analytics, as well as spending time with you and your team to make sure we are on the same page. Without a clear understanding of your goals, there is no way to measure the results of the project, and we like to measure everything. We chart & graph, whiteboard and sketch, as well as Experience Design & OmniGraffle…
When you add it all together you get what we call Strategy First™: A linear approach to planning where each phase informs the next. It includes workshops to define key project components, an innovative design approach, documentation and training. It culminates in a comprehensive project plan document, which is our shared roadmap to project success.
Get in touch: we would enjoying getting to know you and seeing if we might be a good fit.
A good PM doesn’t simply follow a process. They are the process. The PM is both the client advocate internally and the company representative externally. When you contract with Ignition72 for project management, we become the track, driver, pace car and road crew.
How We Do It
By using robust resources like project-specific Slack instances, Asana and a wealth of other digital tools, our project management team embraces how you work in order to minimize disruptions and maximize success. We facilitate client and internal communications alike, track tickets and tasks, and take over all management aspects so every team member can focus specifically on their task at hand.
As your project manager, we’re always available to answer your calls and address your emails so you are never left waiting for an answer. Our designers and coders work with email off and without phones on their desks to encourage focus and clear communications while giving our clients a prime contact point.
Up for meeting at a quirky coffee shop to talk project management? We’d love it, and if you drop us a line, the first one’s on us!
If someone ever tells you design is solely about making something pretty, run away fast. Design is so much more. Good design is about facilitating engagement, immersion and action. It helps lead your prospects down the sales funnel, turning them from a casual observer into a qualified lead.
The User Experience is not just about whether a goal is completed, it’s about HOW that goal is completed and how likely that goal will be repeated despite changing rules and guidelines to attract different audiences and transactions. Therefore, good design is always informed by strategy and planning.
How We Do It
At Ignition72, design comes last in our process. We will never unveil design during the pitch, as at this early stage, it would be uninformed and, most likely, unachievable.
Instead, our design team is active in the planning process. They gain a deep understanding your audience, goals and objectives to inform the design of your project and establish more than just a visual identity. We are then able to create a unique visual language for your project that’s flexible across all devices and inputs, consistent across all sites and resources, and flexible enough that you can carry it forward with confidence.

There are three ‘successful’ ways you can code.
- It works! (Sort of/mostly)
- It works! (As long as it’s overseen/used by highly trained person)
- It works, all the time and for everybody!
Needless to say, Ignition72 thrives on building the third definition, as code that works for everyone empowers your business, improves processes and makes goal completion efficient and reproducible. By fixating on code working all the time and for everybody, Ignition72 is able to boast an 80% client return rate, year after year.
How We Do It
We are not a hammer looking for a nail, meaning we’re not a one-system or one-audience shop focused on one vertical. We are changemakers and code is our tool.
If it makes sense for your business, we prefer to use open source tools that include a wide range of content management systems, including WordPress, Umbraco, Drupal, Big Tree and others. However, if open source isn’t best for you, creating a custom or proprietary system is always an option, whether it’s for your new mobile app or an internal system.
Our experience runs the gamut from NASA, the U.S. Census Bureau, the VA, the NCUA and DOT to Marriott, The Nature Conservancy, Hollywood, the local little league team and a wonderful church in Florida. And while our developers work without email or phones, they’ve created more connections to the outside world than the rest of the office combined.

If your goal is to tell a story, there is no better way than with images and video. 2017 saw average dwell times on a page with video or rich photography five times higher than pages without. On mobile devices, video is even more popular. With 65% of web activity now happening on smartphones, video is a vital tool in digital lead generation and conversion.
Additionally, high-quality images and photos aren’t just pleasing to the eye. They contribute significantly to search results. Every image is given an ALT tag to utilize SEO best practices. And with Google’s acquisition of YouTube way back in 2006, video has grown into a primary driver for Google search results.
How We Do It
During initial planning sessions, Ignition72 will review your visual assets and make recommendations to fill missing needs. We will build a schedule and budget to create or secure desired assets. Through our partnerships, we are able to deliver video for every screen, including virtual reality headsets.
We will also create a distribution plan that can include social media, paid placements, pre-roll advertisements, sales support channels and internal training distribution. Regardless of the medium of delivery, Ignition72 is able to track and analyze viewership and results to prove the value of video creation based on ROI.
As the adage goes, seeing is believing. Give us a call so we can set up a demonstration of our visual capabilities.
Because reading through dozens of pages of complex and detailed information can be a bore, particularly on a phone! Watching a 3-minute animated video not only saves time, it better reinforces the content due to multi-sensory engagement.
Audio, visuals and text all play a role in video animation, whether it’s 2D or 3D. Heck, we’ll even splash water on you if you’re looking for a 4D experience. That’s how much we love a good animation project that generates results for our clients.
How We Do It
Like everything else we do, it starts with planning. We explore and discuss visuals, create storyboards and write the script. We also choose the talent, music and interactive elements that help tell the story. We create the final piece using Cinema 4D, Maya 3D animation and After Effects. A project manager is assigned from the very beginning to set the timeline, oversee the project and ensure your satisfaction and on-time delivery.

No, we are not proposing to sell you friends for your social media account. We are simply acknowledging that search engine, behavioral, display and rich media marketing have a cost per visit. However, doing this blindly quickly leads to unnecessary expenditures. You need an action plan that makes sense for your company.
How We Do It
Ignition72 first begins by looking at the two key components of traffic generation. We research paid marketing channels to see what has the highest potential rewards for your products or services while simultaneously auditing your assets to see what’s best served through specific digital channels. We then explore the strength of your SEO.
A plan is put into place that aligns existing content to the best traffic channel, as well as creating or editing content where deemed necessary. Keywords are included as well as best SEO practices to increase visibility and zero in on where your target market lives online.
Each click, page view and screen-time metric is measured and analyzed for optimal results. If something is underperforming, we can quickly course correct or A/B test to hone in on the variables that boost performance.
Copywriting/ Content Strategy
Copywriting and content strategy involve much more than just words on a digital page. The heart of it is nailing down your brand voice. Every business should know their persona. Are you a captain of industry or creator? A rebel, everyman, or caregiver?
This isn’t a matter of trying on different outfits and choosing. It involves getting down to the core being of your business, developing a persona that is authentic to your business and presenting yourself in a manner that’s compelling to your target audiences.
How We Do It
During the planning stages of your project, Ignition72 will review any existing materials and present voice personas that are potential matches for your overall brand. Once a persona is chosen, any copywriting handled by Ignition72 will reflect and promote that persona across your digital landscape.
We also look at your entire digital ecosystem to determine where best to use new content and what section it satisfies in the marketing funnel, whether it’s website copy, blogs, video creation, social media posts and advertisements, eBooks, white papers, infographics, digital ads or paid placements. Every avenue we pursue will point back to your website, as that is the central hub for all of your digital content.
